Yes, there’s many interesting effects that can be achieved by combining the products together. For example; use clear texture paste through a stencil then Pixie Powder over the top of it, use a metallic, lustre or opal polish as a first coat under Glitter Kiss or use Glitterbitz over double sided tape to create sparkly borders. Have fun experimenting and you can create truely unique projects.

Have a large piece of paper underneath your project when sprinkling glitter over it, that way it will be easy to tip the left over glitter back into the pot.

After use, always wipe the opening with a damp cloth.

Hints & Tips

  • Mix Pixie Powder or Intense Pigments Stains into clear lacquer in small amounts to make a beautiful colour effect.

  • Use Pixie Powders or Shimmer Shakers on black/dark card to really see the colours pop!

  • Use 3D Accents Glue to create raised effects such as 3D flower centres. On the back side of acetate, once dry you will get a lovely pearly effect shine through on the right side of the acetate design.

  • Take a tiny amount of Glitter Kiss out of the jar (especially Frosty Sparkle) and add a little amount of water to give you the perfect sparkly finish for fairy wings.

  • Mop up your left over Pixie Powder with a plain satin ribbon to create a matching bow to go with your pixie powdered elements.

  • When using Shimmer Shakers or Pixie Powder work on an old baking tray or a tin foil tray, that way the water won’t run off the sides and you can keep the tray for the next use without having to clean it. Pixie Powder will reactivate once dry!

  • When using misters on cardstock, if you feel you’ve gone too far and you don’t like the effect you have created. Either blot the card with a piece of plain paper to remove some of the colour or mist the design with either water or a lighter colour of mister to lighten the effect.

  • Use sticky specs on the back of vellum to create a completely different effect! You will see the glue specs through the vellum, but it will give the vellum a light fabric effect. If you then attach this to mirror card you will get a really nice effect.
