How To Stencil

Tape down your stencil to your work using removable tape. Using a pallet knife apply product in one direction from top to bottom.

Texture pastes or blending inks work well. We have a fabulous selection in our Cosmic Shimmer range.

Have a large piece of paper underneath your project when sprinkling glitter over it, that way it will be easy to tip the left over glitter back into the pot.

Hints & Tips

  • Stencilling is a great way of creating co-ordinating design throughout your home as well as your papercraft projects.

  • If you use an embossing ink through your stencils, you can heat emboss your designs to give a lovely enamel effect.

  • Larger stencils are fun to use when creating Zentangle effects.

  • You can achieve interesting effects by stamping over less intricate stencil designs.
